Done properly, priced up front

Wedding sites, business sites, online shops, booking systems, and tools built for how your business actually runs. You get the price in writing before anything starts, and the work is yours to keep.

01 — What we do

From one page
to a working system.

Some jobs are one page and a contact button. Some are a shop, a booking system, or software a business runs on. The job gets the size it needs, and you get the price before it starts.

Wedding websites

One place for everything guests keep asking about. Directions to the farm, where to stay, what to wear, RSVPs that come straight to your phone, and the photos afterwards. Yours to keep, in your names.

Small business websites

One page or six. Who you are, what you do, where you are, and a button that puts them straight through to you.

Domain, hosting and email

Your own address instead of a Gmail one — you@yourbusiness.co.za. Registered in your name, on South African hosting, and set up for everyone on the team on whatever they already use.

Custom software, when a website isn’t enough

Some businesses need more than pages: a shop, a booking system, something shaped around how the work actually happens. That is bespoke — built from scratch for one business, not a template with the name swapped. It takes longer and costs more than a website, and you get the scope and the price in writing before anything starts.

02 — Recent work

Four that are
running right now

Ask, and you will be walked through any of these on a call.

Internal system

An internal admin dashboard for a multi-branch business

Reporting across every branch, automated checks, and an AI assistant that catches the mistakes people actually make. Head office sees one clean picture instead of a dozen inboxes.

Laravel · MySQL · Branch reporting · AI assistance

Online shop

An online bakery, and the systems behind it

A shop with card payments out front, and invoicing, a client database and fleet management running behind it.

Card payments · Invoicing · Client database · Fleet management

Site and portal

A laundry with its own admin portal

A public site for customers, and behind it a portal that runs deliveries, invoicing, scheduling and the notifications that keep clients in the loop.

Deliveries · Invoicing · Scheduling · Client notifications

Custom build

A family archive built from scratch

One family’s tree, timeline, documents and photographs in a single searchable place, still being added to, instead of a box of paper in a cupboard.

Custom database · Timeline · Document archive

03 — How it works

Four steps,
no surprises

You will know the price before anything starts, and you will see the site before anybody else does. The timings below are real, not best-case.

You get in touch and we meet

Twenty minutes on a call, or in person if you are nearby. What you need it to do, who it is for, and what you already have — a logo, photos, an old site. No pitch and no charge.

Day one
No charge

You get a price in writing

One page, one number, priced on what you actually asked for — listing exactly what you get and what it costs to keep running afterwards. Fixed, not an hourly rate that creeps.

Within
three days

Mockups first, then we build

You see mockups and renderings before a line of code is written, then the real thing on a private link. Changes happen here, at the drawing stage, where they cost nothing.

Sites: 1 to 2 weeks
Systems: agreed up front

It goes live and stays looked after

We put it online and show you how to change the everyday things yourself. For a month after launch it stays looked after while you settle in, and after that only if you want it.

04 — Packages

Real prices,
written down

Most places make you ask. Here are the actual starting figures, so you know before you spend an hour talking to anyone. Anything that can be priced in advance is priced here; anything that cannot is quoted properly instead of guessed at.

Custom systems

When a website is not the job

Admin portals, invoicing, scheduling, client databases, reporting dashboards — software built around how your business actually runs. This cannot be priced from a list, and anyone who tries is guessing. You get a scope and a number in writing after the first call.

Book a call about a system
  • Admin portals and reporting dashboards
  • Invoicing and client records
  • Scheduling, deliveries and notifications
  • Checks that catch mistakes before they spread
  • Scope, price and timing agreed before we start
Prices may move with what you need

The figures above are starting points, and a bigger or more involved job costs more. There are no surprises in it: every cost is written down and agreed with you before any work begins, never added to an invoice afterwards. If you change what you want partway through, you get a fresh quote for the change before we carry on — and you decide whether to go ahead.

How it is paid

Half to start, half the day it goes live. Domain, hosting and your own email address are quoted with your package, billed monthly or yearly, whichever suits you. Those run on someone else’s rates, so if a provider changes theirs you hear it from us in advance, never as a surprise on an invoice.

05 — Why us

Being invisible
costs you customers

Someone two towns over is searching for exactly what you do, right now, and finding everybody except you. That is not a marketing problem, it is a plumbing problem — and closing that gap is the whole point of Karoo Systems.

You should be running your business, not building a website. Tell us what you do and who you do it for, and we handle the rest — so the time you would have spent wrestling with it goes back into the work you are actually good at.

And you know the number before anything starts. It is written down, it is agreed with you, and it does not move unless you ask for something different. That holds whether the job is one page or a system your staff log into every morning.

06 — Questions

The ones people
actually ask

What does it cost?
The starting figures are on this page rather than hidden behind a form — a wedding site from R1 950, a one-page business site from R2 950, up to six pages from R5 500, a shop from R9 500. Custom systems are quoted per project, because they genuinely cannot be priced from a list. Your exact number depends on what you need it to do, and it is fixed in writing before anything starts.
Do you build more than websites?
Yes, and it is a large part of the work. Admin portals, invoicing, scheduling, client databases and reporting dashboards — software built around how a business actually runs, for staff to use every day rather than for customers to browse. If you are not sure whether you need a website or a system, that is exactly what the first call is for.
Who owns the site and the domain?
You do. The domain is registered in your name, not ours, and the site is yours to keep. If you ever want to move it elsewhere or hand it to somebody else, you can, and we will help you do it.
Is my job too small to bother with?
No. A single page for a one-person business is a real job and gets built like one. The same care goes into it as into a system with fifty users — it is just smaller. And if it turns out you genuinely do not need a website, you will be told that too.
How far ahead should we start a wedding site?
About two months before the invitations go out, which for most couples means four to six months before the day. It only takes a week or two to build, but starting early means the link is ready when the invitations are printed instead of afterwards.
What happens to the wedding site after the wedding?
It stays up as long as you want it to, with the photos added. Some couples keep it for years, some let it lapse after a few months. Either way it is registered in your names and the choice is yours, not ours.
Do I have to write everything myself?
No. Most people hate that part. Tell us about it the way you would tell a friend, and we will write it up and send it back for you to correct. Photos are the one thing worth doing properly — good phone photos of your actual place beat stock pictures every time.
What does it cost me every month afterwards?
Hosting and the domain have to be paid for. Those run on someone else’s rates, so the figure is quoted with your package and you are told in advance if a provider changes it — never as a surprise on an invoice. Everything beyond that is optional.

it is for

Not sure what you need, or what it should cost? That is normal, and it is exactly what the first conversation is for, and it costs you nothing. Send a couple of lines and you will get a straight answer back.
